This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to convert business challenges into technical solutions.
• Create and develop software based on business and technical requirements.
• Ensure quality, security, and compliance with team standards.
• Conduct code reviews, detect defects, and suggest enhancements.
• Analyze and resolve intricate and time-sensitive technical issues for supported applications.
• Contribute to the creation of technical and end-user product documentation and design artifacts.
• Uphold engineering best practices and pinpoint security vulnerabilities.
• Leverage AI to expedite design, development, and documentation while assessing generated code and assets.
• Guide junior engineers on technologies, processes, and industry-specific knowledge.
• Assist in research and insights solutions that empower customers to make informed decisions.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 6 years of full-stack software development experience, encompassing both frontend and backend.
• Strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and REST API design.
• Proficient in both relational and non-relational database design and development.
• Experience as part of an Agile/Scrum team.
• Familiarity with Git and Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in writing incremental unit tests and implementing coding best practices.
• Ability to develop comprehensive domain knowledge in industry-specific business rules and processes.
• Skilled in using AI-assisted development tools like Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code.
• Capable of assessing when to accept, modify, or reject AI-generated content.
• Proficient at providing effective context to deliver production-quality results.
• Experience utilizing AI to speed up test authoring, documentation, and routine refactoring.
• Awareness of the limitations of AI tools, such as hallucinated APIs, outdated patterns, security risks, and the necessity for human verification.
• Self-driven and detail-oriented, capable of taking ownership from requirements to release.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Committed to fostering the growth of team members through peer reviews, pairing, and mentorship.

• Preferred: Familiarity with market research data collection and processing.
