Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Design and configure web applications utilizing contemporary web development frameworks.

• Convert and integrate data from both classified and unclassified sources into web-based systems.

• Execute data transformation and preprocessing using Python APIs and ETL tools.

• Enhance data collection tools to meet stakeholder needs.

• Create and maintain documentation for code, service endpoints, system architecture, and training materials.

• Assist in security testing and approval processes.

• Validate developed solutions with stakeholders to ensure they fulfill requirements.

• Create data-driven dashboards for senior leadership utilizing Python or PowerBI.

• Work closely with the Lead Point of Contact, provide regular progress updates, and advise on project management and potential timeline risks.

• Update staff and leadership on advancements toward project objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development using JavaScript/HTML, including frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.

• Significant experience with MS SQL.

• Practical knowledge of .NET is a plus.

• Experience in creating data-driven dashboards for senior stakeholders using Python and/or PowerBI.

• Proficiency in utilizing Python for automation, ETL, and analysis (e.g., pandas, numpy, matplotlib).

• Capability to build and maintain backend services or processing pipelines.

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and Agile project management methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Competence to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Advanced English (C1) communication skills, both written and spoken.
