Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy application features.

• Transform requirements and client needs into effective, scalable technical solutions.

• Resolve bugs and maintain the reliability and performance of live systems.

• Explore technical challenges, including issues that extend beyond existing systems.

• Apply sound engineering practices and leverage emerging AI tools.

• Share expertise with developers and assist Support and Product teams in understanding the products.

• Undertake additional related projects as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of eight years of software development experience.

• Proficient in various technologies across the stack, including React, Node.js, .NET, and Java.

• Practical experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Aurora, or PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies and tools like AWS, EBS, and Docker.

• Understanding of modern architectural patterns, including microservices and multi-tier systems.

• Experience with authentication, security, and remediation practices.

• Knowledge of software development methodologies such as iterative development and Agile/Scrum.

• Proficient in using GitHub, CI/CD, and project management tools like Jira.

• Experience with AI-driven tools and processes, such as Claude, Codex, or OpenClaw.
