Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end web applications utilizing modern web technologies and low-code platforms.

• Create and style responsive, user-friendly interfaces within the Mendix platform.

• Develop and manage backend REST services and business logic that support platform capabilities and agentic AI workflows.

• Contribute to the development of agentic AI components using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith.

• Assist in the development and deployment of cloud-based services and infrastructure on AWS, utilizing OpenSearch, SageMaker, Lambda, and SQS.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Packer, and Terragrunt.

• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, architects, and product owners to transform requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions.

• Aid in testing, debugging, and optimizing performance.

• Maintain documentation for system architecture, APIs, and development processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 2 years of experience; or a Master's degree with no experience required.

• 2–5 years of professional software development experience.

• Experience in building front-end web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Proficiency in developing backend services and APIs, including RESTful service design and complex business logic implementation, using Python, Java, or NodeJS.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative agile environment.

• Must pass the CompTIA Security Plus Examination within 90 days of employment.

• U.S. Citizenship is required; dual citizenship is not permitted.

• Candidates must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

• Preferred: Experience with ReactJS and Mendix.

• Preferred: Python development and familiarity with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and/or LangSmith.

• Preferred: Experience with AWS services including OpenSearch, SageMaker, Lambda, or SQS.

• Preferred: Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Packer, or Terragrunt.

• Preferred: Understanding of DevSecOps practices.
