Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop features for a new cloud product utilizing AI coding agents, progressing from written specifications to thoroughly tested and reviewed code.

• Analyze and resolve issues on the existing platform.

• Employ AI coding agents to interpret and clarify legacy code in Visual Basic 6, .NET Framework, PHP, and SQL Server prior to implementing changes.

• Create and sustain automated testing procedures.

• Assist in maintaining a fully operational CI pipeline.

• Keep product documentation and the use-case catalog up to date.

• Engage in code review processes.

• Disseminate knowledge regarding the use of AI coding agents.

• Work collaboratively with the Tech Lead and the rest of the development team.

• Participate in a hands-on session where a small feature is built using an AI coding agent, if shortlisted.

⛳️ Requirements

• Between one and three years of professional development experience, or a strong profile as a graduate or self-taught individual with significant projects to showcase.

• Experience in utilizing AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot as the primary method for software development.

• Capability to present work developed with AI coding agents and articulate the verification process.

• Strong understanding of data structures, SQL, HTTP, APIs, version control, and test writing.

• A curious mindset towards existing systems and the patience to comprehend legacy code before making modifications.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Fluency in English is a requirement.

• Knowledge of Spanish is advantageous.

• Familiarity with .NET, PHP, or Visual Basic is a plus.

• Experience in building LLM features, agents, or MCP servers is a nice-to-have.

• Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP, or CI/CD pipelines is desirable.

• An interest in sports, fitness, club management, or experience with booking and membership systems is a plus.

• Ability to work within European time zones, ensuring overlap with Central European Time.
