Software Architect, Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with various teams to establish and execute scalable and secure solutions.

• Engage in the delivery and defense of technical and architectural solutions addressing diverse business challenges.

• Ensure that both functional and non-functional requirements are fulfilled.

• Lead and mentor Developers, including succession planning, talent mapping, and providing technical guidance.

• Guide the team technically and facilitate the development of applications using emerging technologies.

• Participate in discussions regarding design and architecture.

• Create and manage the product backlog in collaboration with Squad Leaders and the client.

• Decompose user stories into manageable tasks.

• Ensure that solutions adhere to security and performance best practices.

• Develop and maintain design documentation and other materials required by the client.

• Communicate effectively with customer team members regarding technical solutions.

• Grasp requirements and choose suitable frameworks for feasible technical solutions.

• Ensure a stable and productive development environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in software architecture design and providing technical leadership.

• Comfortable with learning new frameworks.

• Proven experience in designing software architecture and defining frameworks and technologies.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficiency in web technologies including React, Next.js, HTML, TypeScript, and CSS.

• Ability to create proofs of concept and develop complex mechanisms.

• Eagerness to work with diverse technologies and learn continuously.

• Capacity to share knowledge with junior team members.

• Understanding of non-functional requirements such as performance, security, privacy, and GDPR compliance.

• Knowledge of Design Patterns, Clean Architecture, and principles of clean coding.

• Familiarity with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Understanding of microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code practices.
