Senior Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of features from inception to completion — encompassing everything from database schema to a refined user interface.

• Design scalable architectures for real-time product data and search functionality.

• Work in partnership with Design and Product teams to establish technical strategies and evaluate trade-offs.

• Produce clean, well-tested code and perform comprehensive code reviews.

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

• Detect and resolve performance issues across the entire technology stack.

• Engage in on-call rotations and respond to incidents when it is most critical.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack web development.

• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js as your primary tools.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.

• Ability to independently manage projects from conception to deployment.

• Strong communication skills, enabling you to articulate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Next.js App Router, Server Components, and React Server Components.

• Experience with e-commerce platforms, Amazon SP-API, or marketplace data.

• Background in scaling data pipelines, web scraping, or ETL processes.

• Contributions to open-source projects or a notable technical blog/portfolio.

• Regular use of AI tools and a commitment to enhancing your workflows.

• Preference for simplicity over unnecessary complexity.

• Self-motivated to learn new tools, patterns, and domain knowledge.
