Software Architect, Full Stack – Node.js/React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and establish a comprehensive full-stack solution for projects under your purview, encompassing everything from the front end to data persistence.

• Convert business requirements into precise, objective technical specifications, addressing both functional and non-functional aspects.

• Decompose and elaborate work items into detailed user stories, ensuring that technical acceptance criteria and development needs are clear enough for the team to execute independently.

• Assess and document the current state of applications, capturing technical debt in a traceable and prioritizable format in collaboration with the product team.

• Review and recommend architectural decisions with formal documentation, including considered alternatives and selection criteria, ensuring that each decision remains clear over time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in full-stack development utilizing React.js and Node.js.

• Advanced knowledge in the TypeScript and JavaScript ecosystems.

• Experience in defining technical standards and design patterns, while advocating best practices across engineering teams.

• Background in developing highly available digital products and supporting ongoing operations.

• Practical experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, GCP Pub/Sub, or RabbitMQ).

• Cloud experience, preferably with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Familiarity with modeling, indexing, and query optimization within MySQL.

• Practical experience in end-to-end testing, including unit, integration, and E2E tests.

• Knowledge of containerization using Docker and configuring CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).

• Proficient understanding and application of Git in collaborative workflows (Gitflow, pull requests, and code reviews).

• Experience implementing Domain-Driven Design (DDD) within a product context.

• Familiarity with observability, traceability, and application health metrics.

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Firebase.

• Experience working on products involving payment methods, subscriptions, or external integrations.

• Understanding of protective measures for sensitive data and ensuring compliance with Brazil’s LGPD data protection law.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

• Experience in modernizing legacy systems and executing incremental migrations.

• Knowledge of PHP and Laravel.

• Proficient in technical English.
