Social Worker, LCSW – Oncall, Variable

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as a vital member of a behavioral health consultation team delivering remote support to acute patients through a Telehealth platform.

• Independently evaluate and triage patients via telehealth, catering to a variety of patient demographics and locations.

• Perform psychosocial assessments in emergency department and inpatient environments.

• Offer clinical social work consultation services.

• Formulate treatment recommendations.

• Carry out risk assessments.

• Provide therapeutic interventions.

• Recommend discharge planning strategies.

• Diagnose mental health disorders.

• Deliver crisis intervention services.

• Facilitate warm handoffs to the Psychiatrist on the Enterprise Telehealth team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited institution.

• A valid Clinical Independent Social Worker License from Washington, Alaska, California, Montana, Oregon, New Mexico, or Texas upon hire.

• Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience in an Emergency Department, Inpatient, or Outpatient Behavioral Health setting.

• Proficient in documenting within an Electronic Health Record.

• Experience with EPIC is preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience working with children or adolescents is preferred.
