This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.
• Deliver administrative and technical assistance to the Complex Case Unit
• Participate in meetings, accurately record detailed minutes, and monitor action items
• Manage correspondence and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders via phone and email
• Investigate and confirm member information utilizing MaineCare eligibility and claims systems
• Document findings and facilitate timely resolution of inquiries and case-related matters
• Enhance administrative processes and procedures to boost team efficiency
• Examine complex and sensitive issues while preparing reports, spreadsheets, and tracking tools
• Respond to inquiries in a professional manner, maintaining confidentiality and applying sound judgment
• Collect information regarding healthcare providers, community resources, and service availability to aid care coordination efforts
• Collaborate with team members and external partners to promote positive outcomes for MaineCare members
• High school diploma or its equivalent (GED)
• Four (4) years of combined education and/or experience in administrative support, healthcare administration, medical eligibility programs, care management, behavioral health, human services, or related areas
• Strong organizational, research, and analytical capabilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient typing skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Capacity to independently manage multiple priorities while effectively collaborating within a team environment
• Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (sorting, filtering, and basic formulas)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
• Proficiency in SharePoint
• Proficiency in Microsoft Forms
• Proficiency in Power Automate
• Capability to quickly grasp new software systems and databases
• Strong skills in meeting facilitation and documentation
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
• Ability to research, analyze, and interpret complex information
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
