This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Publish selected content promptly to autonomously managed social media accounts, with a primary focus on TikTok.

• Edit content to enhance performance on the TikTok platform.

• Establish the tone, aesthetic, and identity of Bleacher Report’s TikTok channel.

• Monitor news and social media to spot trending sports topics and significant pop culture events.

• Craft timely, polished, and stylistically appropriate hooks that align with the accounts' social voice.

• Make quick editorial decisions and responses, often without direct supervision.

• Cover sports events and live broadcasts as they occur, including evenings and weekends.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts editing and curation.

• Proven experience in growing follower count and engagement on TikTok.

• Strong familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube/Shorts platforms.

• A passionate sports enthusiast.

• Well-informed about various sports, particularly focused on the NBA and NFL.

• Strong understanding of Bleacher Report’s voice and reactions across different platforms.

• Awareness of trends, memes, viral content, and popular culture.

• Availability to work during nights and weekends.

• Excellent skills in video editing, copywriting, and communication.

• Required editing skills and experience; attentive to punctuation and grammar.

• Ability to recognize content, including highlights and user-generated content (UGC).

• Experienced in highlight editing.

• 1–2 years of professional experience preferred.

• Bonus skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Facebook Creator Studio, and ClipPro.
