Social Media Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Establish new TikTok, Instagram, and various social media accounts, including setting up profiles, bios, branding, and business configurations.

• Gradually warm up and expand new accounts organically while adhering to platform guidelines.

• Monitor account performance and health metrics, such as reach, views, restrictions, and potential suspensions.

• Identify and address issues pertaining to account health.

• Source, vet, and onboard creators, influencers, UGC talent, and account managers.

• Coordinate creator activities and postings across multiple accounts and markets.

• Manage posting schedules and the distribution of content across the account network.

• Keep precise and secure records of accounts, ownership, and access rights.

• Track the effectiveness of account setup strategies, posting frequencies, and content formats.

• Stay updated with platform policies, community guidelines, and algorithm changes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in creating and growing social media accounts for brands, agencies, or creator networks.

• Demonstrated success in building new TikTok and/or Instagram accounts from scratch.

• Ability to provide examples of accounts developed and the results obtained.

• Strong grasp of platform community guidelines, account health indicators, and reasons for restrictions.

• Experience in working with or managing creators, influencers, or UGC talent.

• Highly organized, with the capability to manage multiple accounts at once.

• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Comfortable working remotely during UK business hours.

• Experience with UK or US audiences, social media scheduling tools, consumer brands, e-commerce, or entertainment sectors is a plus.

• Basic skills in content creation or video editing are advantageous.
