This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop high-quality, engaging content tailored for Facebook and Instagram, leveraging trends, analytics, and established strategic guidelines.
• Expand Facebook and Instagram accounts while achieving performance goals.
• Schedule approved posts using social media management tools at designated intervals.
• Analyze post performance utilizing analytics tools.
• Monitor engagement, reach, and conversion-rate metrics.
• Utilize performance data to enhance strategies and achieve objectives.
• Stay updated on social media trends, platform changes, and industry news.
• Present weekly statistics and trends following the established format.
• Implement organic social media campaigns in collaboration with the VP of Content Strategy to promote products, services, or events.
• Coordinate efforts across specialized remote team roles and provide constructive feedback on creative outputs.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist (or a similar role) managing META accounts (Facebook/Instagram) with over 100,000 followers per account, including experience with a personal brand account.
• Proven expertise in strong copywriting for educational brands.
• A history of effectively translating senior leadership directives into clear priorities, including the ability to quickly re-prioritize when strategies shift.
• An analytical mindset with a proven track record of setting audience growth metrics (size + engagement), interpreting performance data, and converting it into actionable plans and KPI-driven results.
• Basic graphic design skills with a keen eye for visual and aesthetic content.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
• Experience collaborating with remote or distributed team members is preferred.
• Access to an up-to-date Mac or Windows computer equipped with anti-virus protection.
• A reliable high-speed internet connection.
• A quiet, distraction-free workspace.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with learning new tools and software.
• Proficient and experienced in using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, OneDrive).
