Social Media Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of each customer interaction, ensuring that everyone who reaches out feels acknowledged, assisted, and appreciated.

• Respond promptly, accurately, and in alignment with the brand voice to comments, inquiries, and direct messages across all social media platforms.

• Actively engage with followers, community members, and relevant discussions.

• Participate genuinely in forums where the audience congregates, such as Facebook and Reddit.

• Communicate in the Camping World brand voice while adjusting to the tone and culture of each platform.

• Address issues with empathy, transforming challenging interactions into positive experiences.

• Escalate matters when necessary and ensure follow-through until resolution is achieved.

• Monitor brand mentions and social discussions to uncover engagement opportunities and highlight issues that need attention.

• Work autonomously and take responsibility for tasks from initiation to completion as part of the Community Experience team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent copywriting skills with the capability to convey clarity, personality, and tonal awareness across various platforms.

• Proficiency in Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, Threads, Reddit, and LinkedIn, with a solid understanding of each platform's culture and expectations.

• Strong critical thinking skills and sound judgment.

• Ability to engage both proactively and reactively, seamlessly transitioning between initiating and resolving conversations.

• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple conversations across various platforms independently.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
