📋 Description

• Oversee Jerry’s official presence on Reddit, managing brand-owned subreddits and fostering organic engagement within automotive, financial, and consumer communities.

• Develop Jerry’s unique voice on Reddit and create a community engagement playbook.

• Produce informative text posts, comprehensive guides, and visual analyses on topics such as car ownership, insurance savings, and maintenance strategies.

• Manage reputation and respond to crises in discussions involving Jerry.

• Monitor Karma growth, thread sentiment, share of voice, referral traffic, search indexability, and citations from language models.

• Relay Reddit insights, emerging pain points for car owners, and trending topics back to the Product and Content teams.

• Simplify complex automotive financial topics to enhance engagement on Reddit.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years managing organic social media or community strategies, with a strong focus on Reddit, preferably in consumer tech, fintech, or insurtech, or a proven history of growing various social media accounts.

• In-depth knowledge of karma, subreddit dynamics, automoderators, shadowbans, and the norms of the Reddit platform.

• Proficient in writing authentically for Reddit users while steering clear of corporate jargon.

• Familiarity with a value-first community strategy and the creation of educational content.

• Understanding of how Reddit content interacts with Google SGE, language models, and organic SEO practices.

• Capability to address pushback, skepticism, and challenging questions in public threads with poise, humor, and transparency.

• Must currently live in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada for full-time salaried employment.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada.
