This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Proactively and reactively engage with patients during their initial full year of CPAP therapy.
β’ Make and receive both inbound and outbound calls to coach, educate, and support patients as they adapt to CPAP therapy.
β’ Identify obstacles to consistent therapy use and offer practical tools and solutions.
β’ Utilize manufacturer software to review patient usage data and tailor conversations accordingly.
β’ Leverage knowledge of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) to explain therapy and highlight the benefits of consistent usage.
β’ Acquire a foundational understanding of PAP and mask equipment from various manufacturers to assist with common troubleshooting queries.
β’ Motivate patients to utilize manufacturer mobile applications and other accessible resources.
β’ Assist patients in comprehending insurance requirements, equipment maintenance, and future resupply necessities.
β’ Confirm patient demographics, physician information, and notification preferences during each interaction.
β’ Accurately document patient interactions, inquiries, concerns, and subsequent actions in the patient account.
β’ Contribute ideas and pinpoint opportunities to enhance the patient experience and support business development.
β’ Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
β’ High school diploma or equivalent is required.
β’ Proficiency in English, encompassing reading, writing, and verbal communication.
β’ Moderate skill level with Microsoft Office applications, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and Word.
β’ Willingness to learn and utilize manufacturer software and other digital tools.
β’ Moderate mathematical skills, with the ability to understand, interpret, and manipulate spreadsheet data.
β’ Capability to work independently, take initiative, and devise practical solutions with minimal supervision.
β’ Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and comfortably to patients over the phone.
β’ Knowledge or experience in working with patients diagnosed with OSA is preferred.
β’ Experience with various insurance plans, including HMO, PPO, and Medicare, is preferred.
β’ Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including occasional lifting of equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
