Skidsteer Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Operate skid steer machinery safely in alignment with manufacturer guidelines, company protocols, and site specifications.

• Utilize various skid steer attachments as needed for project tasks.

• Transport, load, unload, and position materials securely across the project site.

• Assist with site cleanup, material handling, grading, and additional general construction tasks as necessary.

• Conduct pre-use inspections and fill out daily equipment inspection reports.

• Quickly identify and report any equipment defects or maintenance needs.

• Collaborate closely with supervisors, tradespeople, and other personnel to facilitate daily operations.

• Stay aware of site hazards and ensure safe operation around individuals, structures, and other machinery.

• Uphold excellent housekeeping standards, keeping work areas tidy and organized.

• Exhibit strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities while prioritizing safety and quality.

• Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with Canoco safety protocols and specific client requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience operating skid steer equipment within an industrial or construction setting.

• Experience in the Oil & Gas sector is regarded as a significant advantage.

• Possession of a valid Skid Steer Operator certification.

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.

• Necessary certifications include: H2S Alive, CSTS or CSO, WHMIS 2015, Confined Space, and Fall Protection.

• Willingness to commit to the necessary project rotation, including working up to 12-hour shifts for the duration of the turnaround.
