Site Technician – Rotational

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Safely and efficiently diagnose, repair, and/or assemble Caterpillar mining and earthmoving machinery.

• Maintain high-quality standards while fostering positive relations with customers.

• Engage in safe, environmentally responsible, and healthy work practices.

• Utilize Caterpillar testing equipment to diagnose mechanical issues.

• Repair and/or assemble both allied and competitive Caterpillar earthmoving machinery within set timelines and quality benchmarks.

• Prepare precise and timely service reports and documentation.

• Act as a collaborative member of the onsite mechanical team.

• Uphold strong customer relationships.

• Adhere to the health and safety policies and procedures of both the company and customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of post-secondary education in heavy equipment mechanics, heavy vehicle mechanics, or heavy engine mechanics.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-apprenticeship experience as a Technician in repairing and servicing heavy construction and/or heavy mining equipment.

• Possession of a provincial red seal license.

• Willingness to work on a 14-day rotational schedule.

• Capability to safely and effectively diagnose, repair, and/or assemble Caterpillar mining and earthmoving machinery.

• Proficiency in using Caterpillar testing equipment.

• Skill in preparing accurate and timely service reports and documentation.

• Commitment to comply with company and customer health and safety policies and procedures.
