This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Create a standardized observability framework that includes structured events, distributed tracing, and intelligent sampling strategies.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to deliver platforms, standards, and data that support service reliability ownership.
• Utilize error budgets and alerting mechanisms to find a balance between feature velocity and system stability.
• Improve detection capabilities and employ early-warning systems alongside AI/ML for anomaly detection and advanced data analysis.
• Develop internal automation and tools to optimize SRE workflows and routine operational tasks.
• Take part in an on-call rotation and oversee incident management.
• Ensure swift incident resolution, effective communication, and conduct post-incident reviews.
• Propel continuous enhancements in system resilience and reliability.
• Demonstrated experience in SRE, Infrastructure, or DevOps roles managing large-scale, distributed environments.
• Proficient in Python programming for scalable automation, internal tools, and robust scripting.
• Practical experience in managing production-grade Kubernetes environments.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Capability to design resilient infrastructure architectures in Azure Kubernetes Service and on-premises setups.
• Skilled in building standardized telemetry ecosystems.
• Expertise in using self-hosted open-source observability tools for data collection, storage, and visualization, including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Tempo, Thanos, and Jaeger.
• Competence in leading incident management and performing thorough post-incident evaluations.
• Ability to cultivate a culture of reliability and shared ownership within the team.
