This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of on-site project execution
• Direct civil, mechanical assembly, and commissioning processes
• Manage site resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
• Serve as the principal site authority
• Handle departmental operations with technical accuracy and an emphasis on project milestones
• Ensure that work adheres to project objectives and corporate safety protocols
• Lead the on-site team and oversee the execution of the project scope
• Manage multiple sites when necessary
• Guarantee that schedule, quality, and costs align with contractual commitments, company policies, and local regulations
• Oversee staffing and performance enhancement
• Achieve established EHS targets
• Ensure the quality of work, documentation, and reporting
• Deliver projects within specified timelines
• Ensure the availability of materials, resources, and skilled workmanship
• Maintain client satisfaction with the site team
• Coordinate night-shift site management alongside the lead site manager when assigned
• Report on quality issues and non-conformities
• Inspire, motivate, and empower team members
• Conduct shaft line alignment, bearing settings, mechanical measurements, and on-site machining tasks
• Read and interpret manuals, drawings, plans, and specifications
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues
• Prepare offers, cost estimates, and mobilization plans from home between site assignments
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 7 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 10+ years of prior hydro/generation experience in a supervisory role
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 90%
• Adhere to all safety guidelines outlined in the site EHS plan
• Report quality issues and non-conformities and ensure adherence to the site quality plan
• Ability to lead, motivate, and empower team members
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in tasks related to shaft line alignment, bearing settings, mechanical precision tools and measurements, and on-site machining tool setup
• Competence in reading and comprehending manuals, drawings, plans, and specifications
• Clear and effective oral and written communication
• Ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Proven capability to analyze and resolve issues
• Skills in documentation, planning, marketing, and executing programs
• Established project management expertise
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States
• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable
