Site Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Effectively communicate pertinent project, team, and company information in a timely and accurate manner.

• Oversee company resources such as equipment, tools, supplies, phones, and energy.

• Optimize cost efficiencies and adjust staff and material usage based on workload.

• Manage project budget controls.

• Establish customer relationships and coordinate both verbal and written communications.

• Provide assistance and guidance to customers in problem resolution.

• Direct and manage all phases of project management for assigned turnkey projects.

• Execute project management tasks through design and planning, manufacturing and procurement, project execution, and closeout.

• Collaborate with customers, sales, design, manufacturing, testing, installation/service, start-up, and follow-up teams.

• Supervise projects to ensure compliance with schedule, quality, and budget standards.

• Create and maintain the master schedule for the line/project.

• Coordinate site activities and remain on-site during project execution.

• Oversee project costs, changes, warranties, and resources.

• Develop and maintain project schedules using suitable management software.

• Ensure that budgets and cost analyses accurately reflect project changes and modifications.

• Provide internal and external progress reports.

• Issue detailed manufacturer specifications for third-party vendors.

• Evaluate suppliers.

• Develop specifications, issue purchase requisitions, negotiate terms and conditions, review submissions, and integrate equipment into the system.

• Coordinate with Krones departments and the local RSM to ensure equipment meets customer specifications and integrates with third-party equipment.

• Obtain and distribute test materials.

• Establish and maintain an efficient project documentation filing and retrieval system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering with 3 years of experience as a Service Technician/Engineer or Site Manager in the manufacturing sector.

• Alternatively, a high school diploma and 5 years of experience as a Service Technician/Engineer or Site Manager in the manufacturing industry.

• 3 years of experience (5 years with a high school diploma) in a mechanical/electrical leadership role focused on project management, including the assessment and analysis of project scenarios.

• 3 years of experience (5 years with a high school diploma) with project scheduling software (Excel, MS Project, or Primavera) and spreadsheet software in a Windows environment.

• 3 years of experience interpreting blueprints.

• Proficient mechanical skills, including drilling, tapping, cutting, or filing.

• Willingness to travel extensively, nearly constantly—up to 100%, both domestically and internationally, for up to 6 weeks at a time.

• Availability for a minimum of 40 hours per week.
