This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Negotiate clinical trial budgets from inception to conclusion directly with clinical sites from a Sponsor's viewpoint
• Comprehend budget and contract terminology for Pharma & Vaccine clinical trials
• Create and enhance templates for uniformity, compliance, and strategic study requirements
• Spearhead direct negotiations with major academic institutions and other essential stakeholders
• Draft and finalize clinical trial agreements that balance business goals with legal and operational safeguards
• Perform FMV assessments and site justification reviews when initial offers are turned down
• Identify when budget or language escalations are necessary and obtain the required approvals
• Manage and prioritize multiple contracting projects across various therapeutic domains
• Highlight risks, timeline impacts, or delays that may affect CTA execution
• Keep precise and timely updates in departmental trackers and databases
• Cultivate relationships with both internal and external partners
• Assist and mentor additional team members
• Participate in process enhancement initiatives
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks and diverse projects
• Over 2 years of experience in a dynamic and high-volume work setting
• Direct experience in negotiations with large academic institutions
• Capability to manage multiple priorities, lead projects, and achieve results within tight deadlines
• Strong grasp of clinical study protocols, timelines, and site-related milestones, such as SIV
• Bachelor’s degree
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and clinical trial management systems
• Familiarity with GCP, sponsor processes, SOPs, and work instructions
• Experience in the oncology therapeutic area is preferred
• Previous experience with pharma, CRO, or investigative sites is preferred
• Strong project management abilities and comfort in leading cross-functional initiatives is preferred
• Experience utilizing AI in contracts and budgets is preferred
