Single Sponsor Medical Director – Medical Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee medical aspects of designated clinical studies as a medical monitor.

• Act as the primary medical point of contact for clients involved in assigned clinical studies.

• Offer medical guidance and supervision for Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance activities.

• Assist in the design, development, and modification of protocols.

• Create and present project-specific and therapeutic training for project teams and clinical site personnel.

• Provide medical and therapeutic insights during Study Start Up, Feasibility, and Subject Identification processes.

• Evaluate informed consent templates and materials intended for subjects.

• Participate in site feasibility assessments.

• Contribute medical input to data collection tools, monitoring strategies, and review and analysis plans.

• Supervise Medical Scientist staff and collaborate with Medical Director colleagues on clinical data reviews.

• Report on clinical trends, challenges, and mitigation strategies to clients and project team members.

• Offer after-hours medical support for clinical studies.

• Assist with Requests for Proposals and participate in Bid Defense Meetings as needed.

• Provide insights to clinical development or regulatory teams upon request.

• Represent the organization at scientific conferences as requested.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical Director (Medical Advisor) position located within commuting distance of Reading, UK.

• Extensive understanding of FDA regulations and global drug development standards.

• Familiarity with national and ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

• Equivalent experience, skills, and/or education may also be taken into account.

• Capability to provide after-hours medical support for clinical studies.
