Shopify Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver eCommerce strategies and advice to clients seeking to transition to Shopify

• Work closely with clients, account managers, and creative teams to collect requirements, outline project scopes, and suggest technical solutions

• Design and implement bespoke Shopify themes, features, and functionalities tailored to individual client needs and branding

• Develop and sustain Shopify applications, integrations, and third-party services

• Perform code reviews, uphold coding standards, and ensure compliance with best practices

• Identify and address technical challenges, propose solutions, and execute resolutions to enhance client outcomes

• Keep abreast of Shopify platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies

• Offer technical leadership throughout the phases of planning, estimation, execution, and delivery

• Facilitate technical discussions with clients and engage in sales and discovery processes

• Create enterprise-level Shopify solutions and associated ecosystem integrations

• Participate in implementation, launch, and ongoing optimization efforts

• Collaborate with sales teams, project managers, business analysts, designers, and engineers

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Shopify Plus and enterprise eCommerce implementations

• At least 5 years of experience in developing and customizing Shopify-based e-commerce solutions, ideally in an agency or consulting setting

• Expertise in Shopify platform architecture, including themes, Liquid, APIs, and app development

• Strong skills in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and principles of responsive design

• Experience in leading and managing a team of developers, with a collaborative and client-centric focus

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively engaging with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams

• Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to analyze complex issues and provide innovative solutions

• Familiarity with agile methodologies, project management tools, and version control systems

• Shopify Developer certifications (e.g., Shopify Plus Certified, Shopify App Developer Certification) are advantageous
