Shopify Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Shopify backend operations, which includes uploading products, managing listings, images, descriptions, product details, and updating inventory.

• Collaborate closely with the fulfillment team to identify and rectify inventory discrepancies, ensuring that system records accurately represent available stock.

• Serve as the operational liaison between the Sales Director and the fulfillment team to guarantee that wholesale orders are precise, complete, and prepared for processing.

• Supervise order processing and shipping to ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify order specifics, resolve operational challenges, and maintain efficient workflows.

• Monitor assignments, deadlines, and pending operational tasks in Asana, utilizing Slack for daily communication.

• Assume responsibility for outstanding administrative and operational tasks during slower periods to enhance organization and sustain efficient workflows.

• Keep accurate records, adhere to established procedures, and proactively highlight discrepancies or potential fulfillment challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience with Shopify, especially in backend administration, product management, listings, and inventory updates.

• Proven experience in coordinating inventory, order processing, fulfillment, or other e-commerce operations.

• Proficient in using Asana for task organization, progress tracking, and deadline management.

• Skilled in using Slack for internal communication and coordination.

• Excellent attention to detail, with the capability to identify inconsistencies and resolve issues effectively.

• Highly organized and able to manage multiple operational tasks autonomously.

• Technically adept, flexible, and quick to learn new systems and tools.

• Strong written communication abilities and effective coordination skills with internal teams.

• Dependable and proactive, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership over assigned tasks.
