SharePoint Specialist – Governance, Solutions

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Develop and uphold governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures for SharePoint.

β€’ Establish best practices for site lifecycle management, document management, metadata, taxonomy, permissions, retention, and compliance.

β€’ Design and implement scalable solutions in SharePoint Online, including sites, libraries, lists, navigation, and information architecture.

β€’ Convert business and operational requirements into technical solutions within SharePoint.

β€’ Provide guidance to stakeholders regarding SharePoint and Microsoft 365 best practices, capabilities, and limitations.

β€’ Collaborate effectively with business owners, architects, security teams, project teams, and end users.

β€’ Create and maintain technical documentation, governance guidelines, and operational procedures.

β€’ Support SharePoint projects through solution reviews, testing, validation, and adoption initiatives.

β€’ Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, compliance concerns, and opportunities for optimization.

β€’ Offer knowledge transfer and guidance to administrators and site owners.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Over 5 years of hands-on experience working with SharePoint Online in Microsoft 365 environments.

β€’ Demonstrated experience in crafting and implementing SharePoint governance frameworks.

β€’ In-depth expertise in information architecture, metadata, taxonomy, and document management.

β€’ Proficiency in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 Administration.

β€’ Experience with Microsoft Teams integration.

β€’ Knowledge of permissions and security models.

β€’ Understanding of records management and compliance.

β€’ Proven experience in translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

β€’ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams.

β€’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.

β€’ Knowledge of enterprise content management and collaboration best practices.

β€’ Experience in large-scale digital workplace transformation programs.

β€’ Familiarity with Power Automate and Power Apps.

β€’ Understanding of Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Viva.

β€’ Experience with SharePoint migration projects.

β€’ Background in working within enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 environments.
