Risk Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee quantitative risk analysis, including Monte Carlo simulations, across various projects.

• Create Risk Management Plans.

• Facilitate risk identification, evaluation, treatment, and overall governance of project risks.

• Act as the subject matter expert and primary contact for SAFRAN.

• Lead and manage the identification of risks and opportunities, conducting thorough analyses, defining mitigation strategies, and ensuring follow-up and problem resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate with Project Management, PMO, functional teams, and stakeholders to synchronize and achieve risk management objectives.

• Conduct daily risk management routines, operational risk assessments, risk reporting, and track performance/trends.

• Assist leaders in overcoming obstacles through structured problem-solving approaches.

• Evaluate and benchmark internal and external best practices in risk management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science from an accredited institution.

• Proficient in industry-standard risk analysis tools that utilize Monte Carlo simulations, such as SAFRAN or equivalent software.

• Minimum of 6–8 years of pertinent work experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in risk management or project controls.

• Relevant background in the nuclear or power sectors, encompassing project management, risk management, project controls, construction management, or contract management, or similar fields.

• Strong grasp of power project life cycles, principles of project risk management, as well as relevant technical, financial, and contractual terms.

• Capable of managing multiple complex issues/projects simultaneously.

• Willingness and capability to travel up to 20% of the time.

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Primavera, and risk management systems.

• Must have access authorization for U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if required.
