This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Act as the main IT liaison for SharePoint Online-related issues, service requests, and authorized enhancements.
• Manage and sustain SharePoint sites, hubs, pages, document libraries, lists, navigation, columns, content types, views, versioning, sharing settings, and site lifecycle processes.
• Diagnose access, permissions, synchronization, search, indexing, document-library, sharing, Office integration, and user-experience challenges.
• Assess and enhance SharePoint search functionality and document discoverability.
• Resolve issues related to search schema, indexing, permissions, metadata, content organization, navigation, and configurations.
• Contribute insights on Power Automate, Microsoft Teams integration, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Copilot readiness.
• Offer both individual and group support to staff, site owners, content stewards, and SharePoint advocates.
• Create and update user guides, quick-reference documents, FAQs, knowledge-base articles, and administrative materials.
• Track usage and support metrics to identify barriers to adoption and areas for continuous improvement.
• Mentor and share knowledge to enhance the internal team's capabilities in SharePoint administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred; relevant equivalent experience will also be considered.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in SharePoint Online administration within a production Microsoft 365 environment.
• Proficient in configuring and supporting SharePoint sites, hubs, document libraries, lists, pages, navigation, permissions, content types, metadata, views, versioning, and search.
• Skilled in troubleshooting SharePoint search, indexing, synchronization, sharing, access, and document-management challenges.
• Experienced in implementing information architecture, taxonomy, metadata, and governance standards.
• Competent in developing technical documentation, user guides, and role-specific training materials.
• Experienced in providing training to both technical and non-technical users, both individually and in groups.
• Strong technical diagnostic, analytical, communication, and collaborative problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple operational and improvement tasks.
• Effective communication skills with technical, administrative, clinical, operational, and leadership personnel.
• Ability to collaborate within an internal team, document efforts clearly, share knowledge, and foster sustainable internal capabilities.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, information security, privacy, records management, and access-control principles is preferred.
• Required experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Power Automate.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Copilot is preferred.
• 8-hour workdays with paid lunch.
