Shared Services Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Establish all new clients within the Mincron/Mapics/Vertex framework.

• Manage customer master information across Mincron/Mapics/Cforia/Vertex, including details such as customer name, address, phone number, fax, email, and sales tax status.

• Retain and manage documentation.

• Perform research and due diligence utilizing both internal and external resources.

• Update customer accounts as necessary.

• Interact with external and internal customers through email, phone, and/or fax communication.

• Extract data and make informed decisions.

• Validate data against external references for accuracy.

• Implement and maintain Vertex and the sales tax program consistently.

• Enhance processing procedures for efficiency.

• Fulfill assigned reporting obligations.

• Execute additional tasks as delegated by the Manager.

• Operate within clearly defined instructions and established procedures under close supervision.

• Report directly to the Senior Manager, Credit & Collections.

• Education and/or experience in accounting or information technology.

• Exceptional analytical skills.

• An analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to work autonomously.

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.

• Excellent customer service abilities.

• Strong phone etiquette and proficient written communication skills.

• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.

• Familiarity with sales tax resale certificates.

• Knowledge of Vertex software is preferred.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience is preferred.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
