Advanced Analyst, Host Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and deliver advanced analytics across specified product and business areas.

• Analyze extensive, intricate datasets using statistical, causal, and exploratory methodologies.

• Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests and quasi-experimental studies.

• Create and validate metrics and dimensions related to product performance and business results.

• Construct and maintain queries, dashboards, and analytical reports.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Data Science, and Analytics teams.

• Ensure alignment among stakeholders on methodology, assumptions, and interpretation.

• Provide clear insights and recommendations through both written and verbal communication, including presentations suitable for leadership.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance efficiency and automate repetitive analytical tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or applied quantitative analysis; relevant industry experience is necessary.

• Strong practical knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R).

• Demonstrated experience in designing and analyzing A/B experiments and applying statistical methods to real-world product challenges.

• Experience in constructing metrics from start to finish, including definitions, validation, and implementation in data pipelines.

• Strong analytical judgment, effectively balancing thoroughness with speed and clearly communicating trade-offs.

• Ability to work autonomously, juggle multiple priorities, and meet agreed-upon deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders, translating complex analyses into actionable insights.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

• Preferred: experience in marketplace, product analytics, or business strategy environments.

• Preferred: knowledge of AI-assisted analytics workflows.
