This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Collaborate with the team to process and release daily equipment lease/loan fundings.
• Conduct and supervise the review of lockbox and ACH cash receipts, as well as cash application.
• Input and scrutinize daily cash activities across the company’s bank accounts within the general ledger system.
• Investigate and resolve intricate payment issues, contract rate discrepancies, and account variances.
• Manage and/or authorize transactions related to returned payments, refunds, and payoffs.
• Oversee the maintenance and review of the advanced payment ledger and associated suspense accounts.
• Provide support for syndication activities, including fund transfers, tracking payoffs and clawbacks, and remitting late fees.
• Review and/or process payments for vendor and dealer commissions, billing, and revenue sharing.
• Prepare and/or evaluate recurring servicing reports and manage audit confirmation requests.
• Execute manual asset-level billing tasks for vendors.
• Maintain or direct the upkeep of spreadsheets and systems for contract, funding, and lockbox tracking.
• Delegate and prioritize the team's workload while managing daily servicing demands.
• Train, coach, and mentor servicing team members through collaborative hands-on efforts.
• Identify, assess, and lead the adoption of AI-driven tools and automation for servicing functions.
• Report directly to the SVP of Operations.
• Coordinate with internal accounting and treasury colleagues, third-party servicers, vendors, dealers, and syndication partners.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, 7–10 years of relevant experience in financial services operations, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role, may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• In-depth knowledge of equipment lease/loan servicing operations, particularly cash application, funding, and review processes within commercial finance or leasing.
• Proven experience in leading, supervising, or coaching a servicing or operations team.
• Proficiency in using general ledger and financial systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced skills in spreadsheet applications.
• Familiarity with loan/lease servicing platforms, lockbox processing, and handling ACH/EFT payments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for addressing complex payment issues, contract discrepancies, and account variances.
• Capacity to manage competing priorities and meet recurring deadlines accurately on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, along with strong interpersonal skills.
• A working understanding of accounting and general ledger concepts related to servicing transactions.
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of financial, customer, and contract information.
• Familiarity with AI-driven and automation tools for servicing or financial operations.
• Capability to evaluate, implement, and lead the team in adopting new technologies.
• Successful completion of a credit check, criminal background verification, and pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana screening.
• Must meet U.S. employment eligibility verification standards.
