This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
β’ Establish and develop operations for the management, maintenance, troubleshooting, and damage control from the outset.
β’ Create processes, responsibilities, and documentation pathways while preparing the framework for future service partners and technicians.
β’ Oversee the operational management of light masts, cabinets, and towers upon completion and handover.
β’ Ensure the functionality and maintained condition of the sites.
β’ Schedule, assign, and track stability tests, electrical inspections, visual checks, and green maintenance cycles.
β’ Work independently at various locations nationwide for approximately 50% of your time.
β’ Conduct minor repairs such as replacing IoT controllers, batteries, fans, or locking cylinders, and organize spare parts.
β’ Prioritize disturbances and significant damages, assess them on-site, and manage actions until restoration is achieved.
β’ Select, commission, and oversee maintenance companies, inspection engineers, as well as landscape construction firms.
β’ Accept services and monitor defects and warranty cases until they are resolved.
β’ Review offers and maintain audit-proof records of inspection protocols, maintenance evidence, and site data.
β’ Coordinate with network operators, municipalities, authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders.
β’ Take over new locations from the construction phase.
β’ Completed training as a technician or master craftsman or a finished technical education with several years of professional experience.
β’ Experience in planning and managing operations, construction sites, service areas, or subcontractors.
β’ Ability to systematically establish and document workflows.
β’ Responsible decision-making at the site and willingness to undertake minor repairs.
β’ Basic knowledge of technical cabinets, power supply, batteries, ventilation, and cabling.
β’ Ability to manage remote monitoring and alarm notifications or quickly learn to do so.
β’ Clear communication of technical matters and confident coordination with municipalities, authorities, network operators, and service providers.
β’ Class B driver's license.
β’ Approximately 50% nationwide travel requirement.
β’ Proficient in German for negotiations.
β’ Good knowledge of English is an advantage.
β’ Experience with radio sites, street lighting, overhead lines or mast construction, wind power, technical facility management, or comparable infrastructure is a plus.
β’ Knowledge in stability, mast statics, EN 40, DGUV regulation 3, service provider management, or technical project management is welcomed but not mandatory.
β’ A strong preference for candidates with an electrical background, but this is not a strict requirement.
β’ Annual gross salary between β¬55,000 and β¬65,000.
β’ On-call duty is compensated additionally.
