ServiceNow Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement integrations between ServiceNow and various enterprise systems, including government/DoD systems, vendor and licensing systems, and other enterprise tools.

• Utilize REST APIs, SOAP APIs, MID Servers, Integration Hub, JDBC/ODBC connections, and email integration.

• Collect integration requirements from business stakeholders and convert them into technical specifications.

• Create and maintain integration designs, data mappings, technical documentation, and test plans.

• Conduct testing of integrations to ensure data accuracy and functionality.

• Diagnose and resolve integration issues.

• Monitor integration performance and pinpoint opportunities for optimization.

• Keep up-to-date with ServiceNow features and best practices for integration.

• Engage in code reviews and help establish coding standards.

• Work collaboratively with ServiceNow developers to create custom solutions and enhancements.

• Contribute to the architecture and design of the ServiceNow platform.

• Automate manual processes using ServiceNow workflows and integrations.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

• Support the Department of the Air Force Enterprise IT as a Service program.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizen with the capacity to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

• Over 12 years of relevant experience; a Bachelor’s Degree in a pertinent field may substitute for 5 years of relevant experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in ServiceNow development and integration.

• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and functionalities.

• Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Jelly, and AngularJS.

• Experience in data mapping and transformation.

• Expertise in ServiceNow MID Server configuration and troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of Integration Hub and ServiceNow Flow Designer.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.

• Experience integrating tools and sources for hardware and/or software asset management.

• CompTIA Security+ certification or the ability to obtain it within 60 days of hire.

• Active Secret clearance is preferred.

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is preferred.

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification is preferred.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is preferred.

• Experience with cloud-based integration platforms is preferred.

• Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL is preferred.
