Service Technician – Level I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Conduct basic preventive maintenance and perform minor repairs on vehicle wash equipment and accessories.

• Diagnose fundamental electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.

• Replace, repair, or adjust components and systems as required.

• Inspect, calibrate, and assess chemicals under supervision.

• Operate equipment through cycles to confirm basic system functionality.

• Guide customers on essential service work and basic replacement suggestions.

• Examine equipment to ensure it operates correctly.

• Provide customers with essential information on equipment operation and maintenance.

• Foster positive relationships with customers.

• Deliver parts or supplies to customers as needed.

• Accurately complete work orders, expense reports, and daily/weekly time logs.

• Stay updated with current knowledge through training seminars, manuals, and service bulletins.

• Maintain an adequate parts inventory in service vehicles.

• Adhere to service policies, safety regulations, OSHA, EPA, and local laws.

• Keep the Service Manager informed of any issues or challenges.

• Carry out other job-related responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma.

• Proven interest and aptitude in mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work through educational or personal pursuits, including experience with meters and ACDC power supply.

• Proficient in basic math and writing skills.

• Clean driving record with no more than three moving violations in the last five years.

• No more than two preventable at-fault accidents in the last five years.

• No impaired driving convictions in the past five years and no pending charges.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned geographic area on a daily basis.

• Ability to understand and interpret equipment, operating, and maintenance manuals and instructions.

• Basic computer skills and proficiency in email communication.

• Capability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.

• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, perform repetitive hand motions, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.

• Sufficient vision to read blueprints, engineering documents, work orders, and field service documents.
