Service Technician I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Conduct basic service operations on vehicle wash equipment and its accessories.

• Diagnose essential electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.

• Aid in the replacement, repair, or adjustment of parts and systems.

• Inspect, calibrate, and verify chemicals under supervision.

• Operate equipment through cycles to confirm fundamental system functionality.

• Evaluate equipment to ensure it operates correctly.

• Provide customers with essential information regarding equipment operation and general maintenance.

• Keep the Direct Manager or Supervisor updated on any problems or challenges.

• Stay informed about equipment updates through training sessions, maintenance manuals, and service bulletins.

• Accurately complete work orders, expense reports, and daily/weekly time logs.

• Adhere to service policies, procedures, OSHA, EPA, local regulations, and company safety standards.

• Assist in advising clients about required service work and the replacement of worn or damaged components.

• Deliver parts or supplies to clients as required.

• Help maintain parts inventory on service vehicles.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma.

• Demonstrated interest and aptitude in mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work through education or personal pursuits.

• Experience with meters and AC/DC power supplies.

• Ability to apply basic math and writing skills.

• Clean driving record with a maximum of three moving violations in the past five years.

• No more than two preventable, at-fault accidents in the last five years.

• No impaired driving convictions in the past five years and no pending charges.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

• Willingness to travel within assigned areas on a daily basis.

• Capability to understand and interpret equipment, operating, and maintenance manuals and instructions.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Focus on customer satisfaction with the ability to adapt to varying personalities.

• Basic computer skills and proficiency in email communication.

• Capacity to lift up to 75 pounds.

• Ability to stand and sit for more than 6 hours a day.

• Ability to climb ladders.

• Ability to reach with hands and arms for over 6 hours a day.

• Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch for over 6 hours a day.
