This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Provide service for DX (Laboratory Diagnostics) equipment in the Bowling Green, KY area.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer locations with minimal oversight.
• Ensure timely and effective repairs.
• Train operators to maximize system performance and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee territory financial performance, including revenue generation, expense management, and inventory oversight.
• Manage company assets such as a company vehicle, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Accurately perform necessary administrative tasks.
• Work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with potential for variable overtime.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; a technical associate’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in providing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on DX Equipment at customer locations with minimal supervision.
• Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Proficient in the use of tools and service testing equipment.
• General understanding of electricity, power supplies, and grounding principles.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in essential network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, and the NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools.
• At least 5 years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to drive independently, both day and night.
• Clean driving record; no prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending charges, or other serious moving violations unless prohibited by law.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform various physical activities such as walking, climbing ladders/stepstools, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reaching, fine grasping/manipulation, and working alone.
• Excellent judgment in managing customer relations and company resources.
• Strong skills in mechanics, electrical systems, chemistry, software technology, electronics, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Must comply with applicable Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include identification verification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training.
• Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control regulations.
