Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Generate and input service work quotes.

• Procure parts and essential supplies.

• Ensure that service work is properly scheduled and executed.

• Deliver assigned projects punctually while meeting financial performance and customer satisfaction goals.

• Plan and assess projects, set timelines and parameters, and establish procedures for intricate service applications.

• Prepare estimates and create proposals.

• Input projects, order and monitor parts, coordinate labor with internal teams and clients, review project completion, and manage billing.

• Enter service estimates, issue purchase orders, and create work orders.

• Oversee service projects from estimation through to completion.

• Receive and evaluate subcontractor proposals.

• Support Sales in project development initiatives.

• Engage with customers, building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support personnel.

• Address customer inquiries, implement corrective measures, and uphold customer satisfaction.

• Ensure that assigned staff and subcontractors adhere to safety protocols in line with Trane and OSHA standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable mix of education and experience.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in project management, HVAC, or a related field is preferred.

• Applicants without a four-year degree are encouraged to apply; practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with leadership principles are prioritized.

• Knowledge and experience in contracting processes and estimating for HVAC system installations and managing subcontractors are preferred.

• Proficient computer skills are essential.

• Highly organized and strongly focused on customer service.

• Travel to customer job sites is required, limited to less than 5%.
