This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Address and resolve provider claims-related inquiries received via phone and written communication.
• Assist providers with questions and issues regarding benefits.
• Handle inquiries related to corporate policies, timely filing, account receivables, and claims processing.
• Act as a representative for the Provider Services team through effective telephone techniques and written correspondence.
• Engage in a structured new-hire training program that encompasses the health insurance sector.
• Spend the majority of each week responding to provider calls.
• Allocate specific time for learning, development, and research to foster career advancement.
• Operate within a structured, supportive, and fast-paced service center environment without scripted dialogue.
• Maintain a fixed schedule with designated lunch and break times.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience involving frequent communication (at least 60% of the time) through phone, email, or in-person interactions.
• Strong proficiency and ease with technology, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to swiftly learn and adapt to new tools and software applications.
• Experience in dynamic, unscripted service-oriented settings is highly desirable.
• Regular speaking and telephone interaction with providers is required.
• Capability to use a headset in an environment that is free from distractions.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.
• Competence in establishing a comfortable, distraction-free remote work environment that adheres to ergonomic standards.
