This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Receive handoffs of service parts from engineering and carry out final attribution and implementation.
• Conduct audits of part records to ensure completeness and accuracy in line with attribution standards.
• Identify and address data discrepancies, conflicts, or outdated attribute information.
• Implement AutoCare Association PIES standards in service part records.
• Make decisions regarding naming conventions based on category, function, and OEM specifications.
• Maintain and update internal documentation for naming conventions.
• Collaborate with e-commerce teams to align PIES compliance with catalog visibility.
• Stay informed about updates to AutoCare Association standards and proactively adapt workflows.
• Manage the publishing and suppression of service parts in the online catalog.
• Assess stock disposition, inventory availability, obsolescence, supersession, interchangeability, cross-reference validity, and data completeness.
• Implement workflows for catalog part release, updates, and removals with thorough audit trails.
• Oversee records for obsolete, superseded, and interchangeable parts.
• Track catalog health metrics, including completeness of listings, suppression rates, and publishing timelines.
• Report on catalog status on a scheduled basis.
• A degree in Automotive Technology, Business, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Relevant technical training or equivalent work experience will also be accepted.
• 5+ years of pertinent experience in automotive parts data management, catalog operations, or a closely related field within an OEM, Tier 1 supplier, or large distribution environment.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of automotive systems and components, including powertrain, chassis, electrical, HVAC, body, and accessory systems.
• Direct experience with AutoCare Association PIES standards.
• Ability to independently interpret and apply PIES requirements, including necessary data segment elements.
• Practical experience with a PIM system such as Akeneo, Salsify, Informatica, Stibo STEP, or a similar platform.
• Experience in managing parts lifecycle data, including obsolescence, supersession, and interchange relationships.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data manipulation tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean, accurate, and well-structured data.
• Excellent written communication skills for documenting naming decisions, standards, and workflows.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across engineering, service, supply chain, and customer support teams.
• Flexibility to adapt in fast-paced start-up environments and during new model launches.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Capacity to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
