This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the execution of performance across designated projects, ensuring that scope is delivered consistently, efficiently, and adheres to technical standards.
• Directly oversee, mentor, and cultivate the skills of Technical Project Managers.
• Perform weekly reviews of project execution focusing on schedule, manpower forecasts, risks, action items, and deliverables.
• Act as the primary escalation point for issues related to project-level execution.
• Assess and validate project plans, schedules, and sequencing, while correcting any execution drift.
• Uphold PM performance standards and prepare PMs for increasingly complex projects.
• Foster and maintain professional relationships with client program representatives.
• Assist in alignment, issue resolution, client satisfaction, and dissemination of lessons learned across program sites.
• Guide Project Managers in key client interactions, escalations, and high-stakes communications.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess project health, reinforce client relationships, and coach PMs.
• Manage weekly and monthly financial monitoring across the project portfolio.
• Review labor, expenses, invoicing status, and projected billing with each PM on a monthly basis.
• Identify budget risks, anomalies in burn rates, and drivers for change orders while recommending mitigation strategies.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial records and updates to backlog, SOV, and VantagePoint data.
• Consolidate project manpower forecasts into a program-level demand signal.
• Analyze demand and workforce supply signals to pinpoint resourcing gaps or surplus capacity.
• Provide a weekly portfolio summary detailing budget, schedule, manpower, and the health of client relationships.
• Identify follow-on work opportunities during client and site engagements.
• Assist in the development of RFPs and proposals through execution scope reviews, manpower planning, and project risk assessments.
• Communicate the resource and operational impacts of anticipated awards prior to contract execution.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in high purity process cooling or mission-critical construction.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role focusing on people or resource management.
• Strong financial acumen encompassing project P&L, labor forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Smartsheet, VantagePoint, and the MS Office Suite.
• Excellent skills in risk identification, escalation discipline, and mitigation planning.
• Ability to function effectively within a high-growth, distributed, remote environment.
• Capability to utilize AI-enabled and digital tools to enhance workforce visibility and reporting.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control system principles.
• Outstanding organizational and file-management abilities.
• Aptitude for completing tasks accurately with meticulous attention to detail.
• Competence in leveraging AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and optimize operational processes.
• Strong communication skills for conveying technical and non-technical information, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to engage directly with clients and serve as the primary point of contact.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team with moderate supervision.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in planning and delegating work effectively.
• Willingness to achieve NFPA70E and/or OSHA certification if required.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Commitment to adhering to company and site safety requirements.
• Must reside near a major airport.
• Must hold a valid REAL ID or an acceptable alternative, such as a passport, for domestic air travel effective May 7, 2025.
