This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Provide support and services to BMO’s Investment Operations business stakeholders and clients.
• Implement investment product and service procedures following financial and regulatory standards and operational protocols.
• Create solutions and offer recommendations aligned with business strategies and stakeholder requirements.
• Guide assigned business units on implementing solutions.
• Assist in strategic initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Address both standard and unique inquiries from internal partners and external clients.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify issues, and take corrective actions.
• Analyze data and information to deliver insights and recommendations.
• Generate regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards.
• Develop change management strategies and lead or participate in readiness, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation, and sustainment activities.
• Create communication plans, tailored messaging, and distribution channels.
• Organize and schedule tasks and forecast resources as required.
• Manage team workflow, including task assignments, quality control, training, coaching, and problem resolution.
• Process transactions, inquiries, and conduct audit/reconciliation activities.
• Analyze and resolve complex issues or escalate them as necessary.
• Serve as the primary backup for team members and the manager.
• Assess exceptions and engage senior management for resolution.
• Design and develop tools and training programs, delivering training as needed.
• Act as the main vendor contact and support vendor solution implementation and maintenance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes and procedures.
• Participate in the planning, testing, and execution of projects, products, services, and processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions while adhering to service-level agreements.
• Verify and reconcile information and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain effective relationships and achieve business goals.
• Stay informed about regulatory requirements and operational risks.
• Assist in developing tools and training aimed at achieving business results.
• Generally, 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• A post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with relevant systems and technology.
• Comprehensive understanding of business unit products, services, processes, and controls.
• Detailed knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements applicable to the business.
• Strong prioritization skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Advanced PC skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Capability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical proficiency acquired through education and/or professional experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
