This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Provide support and services for BMO’s Investment Operations function and its business stakeholders.
• Implement processes for Investment products and services in alignment with financial and regulatory controls as well as operational guidelines.
• Collect and organize data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
• Assist in the execution and sustainability of change management activities.
• Serve as a resource for problem-solving for junior staff members.
• Systematically arrange work information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Carry out service requests, transactions, queries, and other routine tasks while adhering to service-level agreements.
• Accurately process transactions, activities, and services on time, ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk controls.
• Provide knowledgeable and accurate responses to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Adhere to documented policies and procedures, meeting all service-level agreements.
• Verify and reconcile information and documentation.
• Analyze data and information to offer insights and recommendations.
• Identify, examine, resolve, or escalate issues and challenges as needed.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to meet service delivery expectations.
• Stay informed about regulatory requirements and operational risks.
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of new processes and systems, as well as enhancements to existing ones.
• Assist in the development of tools and the delivery of training programs.
• Handle a variety of complex tasks and manage escalations effectively.
• Apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework to make risk-informed decisions that align with business strategies and relevant policies, laws, and regulations.
• Generally, 2–3 years of relevant experience is expected.
• A post-secondary degree in a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient knowledge and experience with relevant systems and technology are necessary.
• Solid understanding of business unit products, services, processes, and controls is required.
• Familiarity with business risk and regulatory requirements is essential.
• Strong prioritization skills are needed.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Strong organizational skills are needed.
• Effective collaboration and teamwork skills are essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Specialized knowledge is a plus.
