This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage both inbound and outbound communications with members and providers.

• Assist members in securing healthcare appointments, screenings, vaccinations, and medication renewals.

• Address and navigate barriers that impact members' health.

• Provide professional and compassionate experiences for members.

• Educate members to facilitate informed health-related decisions.

• Maintain accurate documentation of interactions in members' health records.

• Clarify benefits related to specific screenings and medications.

• Support health services, medications, and resources to enhance Star health outcomes.

• Raise issues for resolution as necessary.

• Achieve business metrics and objectives while ensuring efficient work practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a call center or outreach role involving members/consumers.

• At least 3 years’ experience in a healthcare environment.

• High School Diploma or GED (MANDATORY).

• Excellent professional communication abilities.

• Strong active listening and interpersonal skills.

• High level of computer literacy, including troubleshooting capabilities.

• Proficient in Windows, web-based applications, and digital communication tools.

• A dependable high-speed internet connection and an appropriate remote workspace.

• Direct/hardwired computer connectivity is required; DSL, satellite, and wireless broadband are not allowed.

• Must be able to work within the state and city of current residence.

• Capability to work with multiple monitors and navigate various applications.

• Proficient in communication via email, calendar invites, Teams messaging, and virtual meetings.

• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 or similar Google Workspace applications.

• Ability to access secure systems such as VPN and EHR portals.

• Competence in managing strong passwords and identifying suspicious emails or links.

• Ability to independently troubleshoot common technical issues.

• Preferred: bilingual or multilingual candidates.

• Preferred: familiarity with HEDIS screening measures.

• Preferred: experience in behavior change methodologies.

• Preferred: medical certification such as certified nursing assistant or medical assistant.
