SEO Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Assist the digital department in facilitating the expansion of global brands into the South African market.

• Engage in SEO and digital visibility initiatives.

• Perform technical SEO audits.

• Execute LLM visibility assessments.

• Analyze Core Web Vitals, hreflang, and canonical implementations.

• Create and enhance content strategies.

• Offer technical SEO consulting services.

• Develop AI prompts.

• Conduct website crawls and SEO evaluations.

• Carry out keyword research and optimization.

• Present a summary of relevant experience when applying.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a South African SEO Specialist.

• Native or full working proficiency in English.

• Strong understanding of technical and on-page SEO principles.

• Experience with international SEO and localization practices.

• Knowledge of AI search, LLMs, and prompt engineering.

• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar.

• A Bachelor's Degree is mentioned in the application questions.
