This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of project planning, processes, and delivery throughout the agency.
• Oversee client projects from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget across all service lines.
• Manage the strategy, execution, and enhancement of SEO initiatives for various partner accounts.
• Create long-term strategies for organic growth.
• Direct efforts in technical and content optimization.
• Discover new opportunities in SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
• Formulate and implement SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies for multiple higher education partner accounts.
• Construct SEO roadmaps that align with enrollment targets and business goals.
• Perform research on keywords, topics, competitors, entities, and search intent.
• Spearhead technical SEO projects, including site audits, crawl analysis, indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and internal linking.
• Collaborate with Web Development teams to prioritize and carry out technical SEO enhancements.
• Enhance website content, landing pages, and content hubs to improve search visibility, user experience, and AI discoverability.
• Identify content gaps and opportunities to bolster topical authority throughout the student journey.
• Track rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and other SEO KPIs to provide actionable insights.
• Manage monthly SEO reporting and relay strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of updates in search algorithms, AI search innovations, and evolving SEO best practices.
• Assess emerging search technologies and AI tools to optimize workflows and search performance.
• Contribute to SEO documentation, operational standards, and ongoing process enhancements.
• Collaborate with teams across Content, Web Development, Analytics, Paid Media, and Account Management.
• 3–5+ years of practical SEO experience with demonstrated organic growth achievements.
• Proven ability to independently manage SEO strategies across multiple websites or client accounts.
• Strong technical SEO knowledge, including conducting audits, indexing, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and on-page optimization.
• Comprehensive understanding of keyword research, search intent, content strategy, and performance analysis.
• Proficient in using tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio, Sitebulb, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with AEO, GEO, semantic search, entity optimization, and AI-driven search experiences.
• Exceptional editorial, proofreading, and content optimization abilities.
• Experience working with CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow, Drupal, or similar.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Capability to juggle multiple priorities across various client accounts simultaneously.
• Experience in higher education, enrollment marketing, or educational technology is a plus.
• Previous agency experience managing multiple client accounts is advantageous.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and reporting focused on enrollment is a bonus.
• Experience utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, AirOps, or similar is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for emerging AI search technologies and the future of organic search is an added bonus.
