SEO Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Assist the digital department in facilitating the expansion of global brands into the South African market

• Engage in SEO and digital visibility initiatives

• Execute technical SEO assessments

• Carry out LLM visibility evaluations

• Analyze Core Web Vitals, hreflang, and canonical tags

• Create and enhance content strategies

• Offer technical SEO consultancy

• Formulate AI prompts

• Conduct website crawls and SEO evaluations

• Perform keyword research and optimization

• Provide a summary of experience that aligns with the role requirements in the application

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient South African SEO Specialist

• In-depth knowledge of technical SEO and AI search visibility

• Native or full working proficiency in English and Chinese

• Strong expertise in technical and on-page SEO

• Experience in international SEO and localization

• Familiarity with AI search, LLMs, and prompt engineering

• Skilled in using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar

• Bachelor's Degree (application screening question)

• Experience in on-page SEO, technical SEO, digital marketing, client communication, and shaping strategic SEO (application screening questions)

• Experience in a Digital Marketing Agency (application screening question)
