SEO/AEO Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more locations.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of Runway's SEO and AEO strategy from inception to execution.

• Create a keyword cluster architecture, conduct competitive SERP analysis, perform content-gap analysis, and develop a content strategy aligned with search intent.

• Advocate for Runway's visibility in AI-generated responses.

• Establish Runway's SEO content library, which includes briefs, landing pages, and articles.

• Identify and define high-opportunity content while maintaining quality and brand voice.

• Design and execute experiments focusing on content formats, internal linking strategies, and page structure.

• Manage the technical SEO health, covering aspects such as indexing, sitemaps, structured data, and schema markup.

• Monitor the website and suggest modifications to site structure and information architecture.

• Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and trends in AI citations.

• Assess the conversion of organic traffic into product signups.

• Collaborate with development, product, marketing, and design teams while overseeing freelancers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of contributing to strategic initiatives.

• Experience in establishing or scaling an SEO function from a small foundation.

• Capability to navigate between strategic planning and hands-on execution.

• Proven experience in cross-team collaboration, managing freelancers, and working alongside product, marketing, and design teams.

• Proficient in GA4 and Google Search Console.

• Skilled in keyword and competitive analysis tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs.

• Familiarity with AEO / AI-search visibility.

• Experience with tools like Profound, AirOps, or similar AEO tools is an advantage.

• Background in an AI, product-led, or consumer-focused tech company is preferred.

• Candidates located in the U.S. must have authorization to work in the U.S.
