SEO Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Assist the digital department in facilitating the expansion of global brands into the South African market.

• Engage in SEO and digital visibility initiatives.

• Perform technical SEO assessments.

• Execute LLM visibility evaluations.

• Analyze Core Web Vitals, hreflang, and canonical tags.

• Create and enhance content strategies.

• Offer technical SEO consultancy.

• Develop AI prompts.

• Conduct website crawls and SEO evaluations.

• Carry out keyword research and optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a South African SEO Specialist.

• Native or full professional proficiency in English.

• Comprehensive knowledge of technical and on-page SEO.

• Background in international SEO and localization.

• Understanding of AI search, LLMs, and prompt engineering.

• Expertise in SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, or equivalent.

• Bachelor's Degree (as part of application process).

• Resume submission is mandatory.

• Estimate of availability in hours per week is required.

• Gross hourly rate in USD is required.
