This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive and implement the strategy, innovation, and effectiveness of various client SEO initiatives.
• Develop and oversee a portfolio of 4–6 SEO accounts.
• Act as a leading subject matter expert in SEO and organic search.
• Facilitate regular status updates and reporting calls, serving as the main SEO contact for assigned clients.
• Convey intricate SEO strategies and execution details to clients in a clear, jargon-free manner.
• Foster enduring client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and consultant.
• Convert channel strategies into time-sensitive tactical roadmaps.
• Establish and sustain organized content systems, including topic clusters, pillar pages, internal links, and supporting schema.
• Focus on performance-driven initiatives and promote authoritative content at scale.
• Investigate emerging trends in search and AI technologies, implementing innovative best practices.
• Analyze performance data, identify trends, assess initiative impact, and formulate actionable strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams across measurement, paid media, and creative.
• Prior experience at a performance marketing agency.
• A minimum of 2 years of agency experience.
• 3 years of overall relevant marketing/SEO experience is required.
• 5+ years of experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with AI search optimization, including actual testing and experimentation.
• Capability to develop and execute SEO strategies across various industries.
• Ability to connect SEO successes to measurable business outcomes and bottom-line impact.
• Expertise in content strategy grounded in audience, keyword, and competitor analysis.
• Strong aptitude for creating content briefs for content teams.
• Proficiency in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
• Comfort in building rapport with clients and representing SEO engagements.
• Strong project and time management abilities.
• Adaptability to change, openness to feedback, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
