SEO, AEO Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take charge of how developers find Mem0’s product offerings, which include the Mem0 Platform, Open Source initiatives, and an upcoming agentic product, utilizing Google and AI answer engines.

• Develop and implement SEO/AEO strategies across all product lines.

• Conduct SEO/AEO experiments and create a comprehensive playbook from scratch.

• Work in close collaboration with the founders, engineering team, and go-to-market (GTM) professionals.

• Partner with engineers to execute technical SEO improvements.

• Enhance content visibility across platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews.

• Increase organic traffic and user registrations.

• Promote an AI memory-layer product aimed at enterprise clients and an open-source developer community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEO.

• At least 2 years of experience leading strategy in a B2B SaaS, developer tools, or AI organization.

• Proficient technical SEO skills, including knowledge of schema, site audits, and Core Web Vitals.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineers to implement technical SEO solutions.

• Strong interest in AI search and experience in testing content visibility on platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, or AI Overviews.

• Capability to write for a technical audience and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and relevance for developers.

• Proficiency with tools such as Ahrefs or Semrush, Google Search Console, GA4, and Screaming Frog.

• Proven track record of increasing organic traffic or user signups with quantifiable results.

• A builder mentality with the ability to manage outcomes from start to finish.

• Basic knowledge of Python or JavaScript, or familiarity working with Next.js and Markdown documentation sites (preferred).

• Understanding of LLMs, RAG, or AI agents (preferred).

• Experience in cultivating a developer community on platforms like GitHub, Reddit, Hacker News, or Discord (preferred).

• Global SEO experience, particularly targeting US audiences (preferred).
